Clooney and Roberts sat down with Today host Hoda Kotb to promote their new rom-com Ticket To Paradise – and revealed the most ‘ridiculous’ part of filming. Kotb asked Clooney and Roberts if it was awkward to kiss ‘your dear, dear friend,’ noting the duo's friendship that has spanned over two decades. "It is when my wife and kids come by to visit," Clooney said with a smile. Roberts added: "I mean it was the first day they came to visit. It’s like: 'Papa, oh, Auntie Juju’. It’s like: 'Get 'em out, get 'em out!'" Clooney then joked: "It’s really bad: 'What are you doing, Papa? What is that?'" The pair then revealed Clooney's kids weren't allowed to be around for the filming of the actual kissing scene. "No, they weren't around," Clooney said with a laugh. Roberts admitted the kiss was funny to film after Kotb asked if they laughed during the kiss. "It’s kinda ridiculous," Roberts admitted. "It is like kissing your best friend." Clooney interjected: "Well, thanks for that. You know I was a two-time 'Sexiest Man Alive?'” Clooney and Roberts also opened up about becoming parents later in life. Clooney is father to five-year-old twins Ella and Alexander with his wife, Amal Clooney and Roberts shares children Hazel, Phinnaeus and Henry with her husband, Daniel Moder. "The truth is no matter how old we are - George being the oldest of us! - they have chosen us in this moment to be their stewards and their shepherds in this life experience," Roberts said of their children. "I met Danny when I was ready. You met Amal when you were ready. And then we call these children into our lives when we’re ready to best partner with them. Hoda also asked if the duo – who have appeared in six films together - will work together on another film in the future. "No way. It’s not going to happen. I’ve learned my lesson," Clooney said, laughing. "Meanwhile, he’s put me in his contract," Roberts said. "He can’t live without me on screen." "She’s also the best available, you know, really," Clooney cheekily said. Roberts then responded with a bleeped out expletive, to which Clooney shouted: "I’m such a what? This is a morning show!"

Iako su deca odrasla, glumica kaže da se nije mnogo promenilo u njenom odgajanju i brizi o njima, čak ni sada kada nisu sve vreme pod njenim krovom, već na fakultetu.
"Odgajam ih na isti način kada nisu kod kuće kao i kada jesu. To već znate: 'Da li dovoljno spavate?' i 'Zvučiš kao da si bolestan' i 'Da li piješ čaj?' i "Pošalji mi poruku kada dođeš kući da znam da si kući zdrav i prav", rekla je i dodala da zna koliko je srećna što je i dalje shvataju ozbiljno. "Izuzetno cenim oboje svoje starije dece jer me i dalje dozvoljavaju da im budem ista mama, ne prevrću očima i imaju ogromnu količinu razumevanja."
Kada Džulija Roberts putuje na posao, starija deca su na fakultetu na različitim mestima, muž je kod kuće sa najmlađim detetom, onda se svi vide i zajedno razgovaraju preko video poziva. "Toliko je zabavno. Svi smo tako srećni što smo zajedno na taj način i još uvek tako duboko zaljubljeni."
